28 Weeks

I'm into the 3rd Trimester. I see saw from thinking I have ages left with 12 weeks to go to thinking maybe I only have 4 weeks which is no time at all! As Nick and I are both still on holiday we are spending this week getting the nursery set up as we don't want a repeat of last time when we were totally unorganized and had nothing ready. I go back to work next tuesday and will only be working 2 days from then on so hopefully I am taking it alot easier this time. While I have Sciatica just as bad as last time I have yet to start swelling up like I did so hopefully that is a good sign. The obstetrician has said that there are no indicators that I will go early which is good.

This photo was taken when I was pregnant with Kaisha at 28 weeks

And this was taken this week at the same amount of weeks.

Its a .........................

BOY!

We are doing blue this time around. I had my 20week scan today and everything went really well.

This photo was taken by Kaisha and I thought I looked kinda glowing finally. At week 19 the nausea has FINALLY stopped and I am starting to develop a normal relationship with food again. Unfortunately the sciatica is starting to hurt just like it did last time round. Ahh the joys of being pregnant. I'm getting lots of kicks and nudges these days which I love and am still really tired and needing a nap if I can manage it. Yesterday I put a DVD on for Kaisha and went to bed as she was refusing to sleep and yelling the house down. I woke up 40minutes later to this.

Yes that is toilet paper. She had shredded half a roll.

Expanding the Woods

Baby number 2 is on its way. We had our 12 week scan today and found out that I am 13 weeks. This one is a wriggler. Kaisha was a very laid back baby who held still and took really great scan photos. Not so with this one, it wouldn't get into position and kept turning over again and again and waving its arms and legs around. For those who want to know, we don't know the sex yet but we will tell you when we find out at 18weeks.

Yes the reason I haven't posted so much lately is that I have been sick. Vomiting all the time sick, I have managed to lose a couple of kg's so far but I'm sure I will make up for it now that I'm starting to feel normal again. All day and night sickness is the WORST! Kaisha has been introduced to every type of takeaway imaginable. She also thinks its funny to stick her head into the potty or toilet and have a coughing fit. At the start she would pat (hit) my back and ask me if I was all right but by the end she just ignored me.

I'm starting to feel good again now tho and developing a little bump. I even got the sewing machine out today and started back on Kaisha's quilt. Fingers crossed this pregnancy is a smooth ride from now on.
